Brittany Donovan has been a part of our trusted legal team since 2019. She brings a varied legal and educational background, both of which are great assets to the firm and the clients that it serves. Prior to joining the firm, Brittany worked at the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office in Manchester, NH. In this role, she supported multiple Assistant County Attorneys with trial and hearing preparation as well as the organization and maintenance of legal files. She served as a case liaison between the prosecutor’s office and local, state and county law enforcement agencies as well as defense attorneys.
In addition to the criminal law and case preparation experience that Brittany gained through working at a county prosecutor’s office, she also brings ample courtroom experience. Her prior role as a Drug Court Case Manager in Hillsborough County afforded her the opportunity to regularly attend court hearings and interact with court personnel, treatment providers, law enforcement and others involved in Drug Court proceedings. Her responsibilities included performing intake assessments, regular interaction with Drug Court clients, and case management of over 30 client matters. Brittany also worked as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician providing support to individuals in crisis or experiencing substance abuse withdrawals.
Brittany holds a master‘s degree in International Criminal Law and Justice that she obtained from University of New Hampshire School of Law. Her undergraduate degree is in Criminal Justice. Brittany also had the opportunity to spend a semester studying abroad in Rome, Italy. During this time, her studies focused on Human Trafficking, Contemporary Slavery and Human Rights.
This robust work experience and educational background assists Brittany greatly while serving clients with the highest degree of expertise. She understands that clients are often struggling through difficult times when they reach out to the firm for assistance and guidance. Brittany is an active listener, compassionate individual, detail-oriented professional and a thorough paralegal. These traits enable her to effectively communicate not only with clients but also with other individuals that are involved in the litigation process.
When she is not working, Brittany enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including kayaking, fishing, gardening, sitting by an outside fire, and going for motorcycle rides with her fiancé, Cole. Brittany, Cole and their cat reside in the greater Concord area.
